This week’s edition of the WVUPros on the Hardwood report brings updates from Germany, France, Israel, Spain, Serbia and Italy as Mountaineers compete in the professional ranks.
Truck Bryant: Over in Italy Serie A2, Truck Bryant and Mens Sana 1871 have worked their way to a 16-11 record. Along the way, Bryant has averaged 17.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game. Mens Sana 1871, winners of three of its last four, sit in fifth place and will play again Sunday against Casapusteri.
Dalton Pepper: Also in Italy Serie A2, Dalton Pepper is averaging 17.5 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game for a NPC Rieti club that is 11-16 and 13th in the West division. In a matchup with Bryant and Mens Sana 1871 Wednesday, Pepper outscored Bryant 13-8 as Rieti picked up a 69-61 win. Pepper and his team are back in action Sunday against Lighthouse TR.
Alex Ruoff: For Dominion Bilbao Basket in Spain, Alex Ruoff is averaging 5.6 points to go along with 2.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game for a team that is 13-13 overall and 3-3 in Eurocup Group G. Ruoff and Dominion BB are back in action Sunday against Real Madrid.
Da’Sean Butler: In Germany this season, Da’Sean Butler and Ratiopharm are in seventh place in the BBL with an 18-10 record overall. In Eurocup Group G, the same group that features Ruoff and Dominion BB, Ratiopharm is in fourth place with a 1-5 record. For the season, Butler is averaging 7.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game and will play again Sunday against Brose Basket.
Kevin Jones: For BC Partizan in Serbia, Kevin Jones helped his fifth-place squad to a 12-14 record this season. No season stats have been reported from Partizan, but in the team’s final game of the season on March 7, Jones scored 32 points and had 11 rebounds.
John Flowers: In Germany, John Flowers has helped Bayreuth achieve a 10-18 record, averaging 13.0 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game in the process. Losers of three straight, Flowers and Bayreuth currently sit in 12th place in the BBL and will play next Saturday against Bremerhaven.
Joe Alexander: In Europcup’s Group N, Joe Alexander and Banco di Sardenga hold a 3-3 record and third place. For the season, Sardenga is 13-13 in Italy Serie A and Alexander is averaging 12.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game. Alexander and Sardenga have lost four of their last six, and will play again Sunday against Auxillium TO.
Remi Dibo: In the French NM1 League, Remi Dibo and GET Vosges are in third place with a 18-12 record. This season, Dibo is averaging 10.7 points per game and 4.1 rebounds a game for a squad that next plays Saturday against La Rochelle.
Devin Ebanks: As the 2015-16 NBA D-League season came to a close, Devin Ebanks and the Grand Rapids Drive finished 23-29 and missed the playoffs. Ebanks averaged 21.9 points per game and 7.0 rebounds per game to go along with 1.6 assists.
Chris Moss: In Argentina this year, Chris Moss is averaging 7.8 points and 4.5 rebounds per game for a Penarol Mar del Plata team that sits in third place in the south division with a 27-21 record. Moss and his team will play next Friday against Quilmes MP.
