WVU’s Adam Pankey arrested after accident

Fifth year senior offensive lineman, Adam Pankey, was arrested Sunday morning after his car was found upside down with Pankey still inside according to reports. Pankey was arrested on suspicion of DUI following the wreck. The starting left guard escaped with only minor injuries.

Reports also indicate that Pankey was the only one involved in the accident and no other injuries were reported.

As of 11 AM Sunday morning WVU had no official statement of the incident other than they were aware. Pankey is expected to anchor a WVU offensive line that is one of the best in the Big 12 conference.

Pankey started at left guard in the Mountaineers scrimmage Saturday afternoon.
