MORGANTOWN, W.Va–Yodny Cajuste was selected by the New England Patriots with the 101st pick in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
As a senior, the 6-foot-5, 321-pound tackle helped West Virginia’s offense average 512.3 yards of total offense per game. The Mountaineers’ offense passed for than 300 yards in 10 games and rushed for over 150 yards in seven games.
Cajuste started two years at WVU but was plagued by injuries early in his career. He comes off the ball with quickness and is an excellent run-blocker.
At the NFL Combine Cajuste put up an impressive 32 reps on the bench press.
Cajuste was named a FWAA All-American (Second Team) and a Phil Steele All-America (Second Team). He was named Big 12 Conference Co-Offensive Lineman of the Year.
The Miami, Fla. native was named to the All-Big 12 Conference First Team (AP, Coaches).
