In his second time around in the NBA Summer League, former Mountaineer Miles McBride was one of the better players to touch the floor. McBride is coming off a rookie campaign with the New York Knicks, and took the Knicks’ Summer League squad to the championship game.
Although the Knicks lost 85-77 in the championship game, McBride still had a good showing. McBride shot 4-of-10 from the field, scoring 17 points, to go along with six rebounds and three assists.
McBride appeared in five games this summer, averaging just under 29 minutes of play in each contest. McBride averaged 16.8 points, shooting 35.7% from beyond the arc, while averaging 3.4 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game.
McBride will enter his second season with the Knicks, hoping to have a larger impact on the floor than he did a season ago.
