The Cincinnati Reds have selected Trey Braithwaite with the 483rd pick in the 16th round of the MLB draft.

Last year Braithwaite posted a 1.70 ERA with a 3-0 record. In 37.0 innings pitched he managed to strike out 36 batters while only giving up a total of 7 earned runs.

He played his first four years of college baseball at Navy and finished his fifth year with the Mountaineers.

Braithwaite’s number has been called and it’s time for him to make a name for himself as a professional baseball player.
