Jimbo Fisher on WVU: “Home is Home”

On Monday, current Texas A&M football coach and Clarksburg, West Virginia native Jimbo Fisher talked about home and the possibility of a return to the Mountain State one day.

In an interview with WDTV, Fisher said “home is home,” when talking about West Virginia and added that “you never say ‘never’ in this business.”

Fisher, who grew up a fan of the Mountaineers, has had immense success as a head coach over the years, and rose to the top of the college football world when he led Florida State to a BCS National Championship in 2013.

In 12 seasons as a head coach, the 56-year-old Fisher has posted an impressive 117-37 record, and has a 34-14 record in the heart of the SEC with Texas A&M.

Though it may be way down the road, we could see Fisher dawn the old gold and blue one day before his historic career ends.
