West Virginia Women’s Basketball guard Jayla Hemingway just announced today that she is returning for her final season of eligibility this upcoming season.
Hemmingway started 30 games for the Mountaineers last season, averaging 9.4 points and 5.9 rebounds per game. She missed one game due to injury and led the team in rebounds per game.
Her return will be greatly appreciated as the Mountaineers make the transition from Dawn Plitzuweit to Mark Kellogg at head coach for the 2023-24 season.
