New West Virginia women’s basketball head coach Mark Kellogg is continuing to hit the transfer portal and add to his roster. He did that again on Tuesday, as he announced the signing of Oral Roberts transfer Tirzah Moore.

Moore is a 6-foot guard from Oklahoma City, and has played two seasons of collegiate basketball. Moore, averaged a double-double last season.

“Tirzah Moore is a fantastic addition to our program,” Kellogg said. “She is a talented forward that will be able to play multiple positions for us. Tirzah has been incredibly efficient as a scorer at the rim but will now expand her game to the perimeter as well.”

During 2022-2023, Moore scored 12.9 points per game, while grabbing 10.1 rebounds per game. She was named to the All-Summit League First Team last season as well. Moore has scored 805 points, and grabbed 461 rebounds in two seasons. She also has 79 blocks and 62 steals in that time as well.

“She will be able to guard multiple positions and have a huge impact on the defensive side of the court. She is an elite defender and rebounder with great timing to block shots. Tirzah is a well-rounded individual that will be a great asset to our program and our community.”
