After the Week 10 slate of college football, West Virginia is officially bowl eligible and are projected to face off against some of the top teams in the country.

The Mountaineers sit at 6-3 after their 37-7 Saturday night win over UCF. Their 4-2 record in conference play has them tied for third place in a five-way tie in the Big 12 with Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma and Iowa State.

In ESPN’s latest projections, one of the predictors has West Virginia playing in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl against Minnesota. The other predictor has the Mountaineers facing Nebraska in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl.
