With the regular season coming to a close, the Big 12 football standings are final.
Texas and Oklahoma State are the two schools heading to Dallas to play in the Big 12 Championship, as the Longhorns are 8-1 in conference, while the Cowboys are 7-2 and hold the head-to-head tiebreaker over Oklahoma.
The Sooners finish in third place with a 7-2 record.
Then, you have a three-way tie for fourth place between Iowa State, Kansas State, and West Virginia, all who went 6-3 in Big 12 play. Below them is Texas Tech and Kansas, who each went 5-4 in league play.
There are six teams in the league who had a losing record in conference play, including all four newcomers. UCF and TCU went 3-6, while Houston, BYU, and Baylor, went 2-7. Cincinnati finished their first season in the Big 12 in last place, at 1-8.
Nine teams in the Big 12 eclipsed the six-win mark, securing bowl eligibility (Texas, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Iowa State, Kansas State, West Virginia, Texas Tech, Kansas and UCF).
The Big 12 Championship is set to take place on Dec. 2. Kickoff is set for noon EST, and the game will be televised on ABC.
