The No. 21 ranked West Virginia wrestling team has built off positive team success from last season, currently sitting at 8-2, but has also seen individual success with No. 9 Peyton Hall and No. 9 Ty Watters being prime examples.

Both Hall and Watters are in the top 10 for fall leaders of pins through Jan. 15.

Watters, a true-freshman competing at 149 came in at No. 4 on the list with nine pins tied with three others with the same amount but having taken more time in achieving the fall (33:00).

Hall, an All-American last year, came in at No. 8 with seven falls (18:14), tied with four others.

Hall is coming off an upset win over No. 3 Izzak Olejnik of Oklahoma State on Sunday which helped him earn WVU student-athlete of the week honors.

WVU was the only school with two representatives in the top 10.

The Mountaineer wrestling team will host Big 12 opponent No. 2 Missouri on Jan. 26 in their next match.
