West Virginia Women’s Soccer goalkeeper Kayza Massey signed a professional contract with Stade de Reims out of France as announced today.

Massey is the 35th player in program history to become a professional player, as well as the first player to sign a professional contract this year.

During her time at West Virginia, Kayza Massey started 72 out of 76 matches played in. She finished her career with 6.620 minutes played, 28 shutouts, and 207 saves, which are all top five marks in program history.

In 2022, she was named Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Year, becoming the first player in program history to earn the award. She also earned other accolades such as First-Team All-Big 12 and Player of the Week honors.
