West Virginia’s 125-pounder Jett Strickenberger, 141-pounder Jordan Titus, 149-pounder Ty Watters, 165-pounder Peyton Hall and 174-pounder Brody Conley will represent the Mountaineers in the 2024 NCAA DI wrestling championships in Kansas City.

Strickenberger, a junior, is in his first season with WVU after transferring from Northwest Kansas Technical College, where he won an individual JUCO national championship. He is 20-6 this season and took home third place at 125 in the Big 12 championship over the weekend.

Titus, a redshirt sophomore, is making his second consecutive trip to nationals after receiving an at-large bid on Tuesday. He’s 23-4 this season, with seven of those wins coming against ranked opponents. He placed sixth at 141 in the Big 12 Tournament.

Watters, a true freshman, won the 149-pound Big 12 Championship on Sunday. He’s 25-4 this season, including 10 wins by pin. He was ranked No. 6 at 149 in FloWrestling’s latest rankings and has shown great promise for the future of WVU wrestling.

Hall, a reigning All-American will be making his fourth consecutive trip to the NCAA championships. He placed fourth at 165 in the Big 12 and has 27 wins on the season including 12 technical falls. He was the No. 14-seed in the championships at 165 last season and is nearing 100 wins in his career.

Conley, a redshirt freshman, will be making his first appearance at the national championships this year. He placed fifth in the Big 12 championships at 165 and has over 20 wins in the season, including nine pins.

The NCAA Wrestling D I Championships begin on March 21 with seeds and final brackets being released on Wednesday at 8 p.m. EST.
