West Virginia fifth-year senior center Jesse Edwards will play in 2024 National Association of Basketball Coaches Reese’s Division I College All-Star Game, which features top seniors from across the country.
Edwards spent four seasons at Syracuse before transferring to WVU for this past season. He played in 23 games this season, starting 22 averaging 15 points, eight rebounds, 1.7 blocks and 1.2 assists per game.
Edwards suffered a wrist injury in the Mountaineers loss to UMass on Dec. 16, 2023, which sidelined him for multiple games. He scored a season and career high on senior night with 36 points. On the season he totaled six double-double’s.
The game will take place Friday April 5 at 5:30 EST in State Farm Stadium in Phoenix, with the event being televised on the CBS Sports Network. Edwards is apart of the West All-Stars squad which will be coached by San Diego’s Steve Lavin.
