MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (April 5, 2024) – The West Virginia University tennis team lost to No. 56 Kansas, 5-2, on Friday at Summit Tennis Academy in Morgantown.

With the return of junior Camilla Bossi, West Virginia (13-9, 2-8 Big 12) unveiled new doubles pairings. Bossi paired with freshman Maya Bordereau and graduate student Ting-Pei Chang paired with redshirt sophomore Maja Dodik.

The pairing of Bordereau and Bossi proved fruitful as they took the No. 3 seed match, 6-4. However, that would be the only success for WVU in doubles play as Kansas took the point.

In singles play, the Mountaineers could not match up with the Jayhawks. Bossi fell in the No. 1 seed match and Bordereau lost in the No. 4 spot as WVU quickly fell behind, 3-0.

Kansas took control, winning the next two singles matches to take the match.
