Mullen Finishes Competition at Open Water National Championships

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (May 5, 2024) – Senior William Mullen of the West Virginia University men’s and women’s swimming and diving team competed in the 5K and 10K events at the 2024 Open Water National Championships at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida, from May 3-5.

In the men’s 10K event on May 3, Mullen placed 21^st out of 27 swimmers with a final time of 2:02.18.

Mullen wrapped up the weekend competing in the 5K event on Sunday. He placed 21^st with a final time of 1:00.40.
