We are entering the final stretch of the regular season and the Big 12 continues to be solid if not spectacular in baseball.

In the latest D1 Baseball rankings, the Big 12 is represented by Oklahoma at 18th and Oklahoma State at 19th.

As of games through May 6, 10 out of the 13 teams have a winning record, with Baylor, BYU, and Houston being the only teams who do not have a winning record.

Baylor (20-26, 9-15 Big 12)

Last Tuesday, Baylor won a midweek home game against UT Arlington 5-3. Baylor scored two runs in the first inning then held off UT Arlington from there for the win.

This past weekend, Baylor hosted a three-game series against TCU. They got swept 7-1, 9-7 in 11 innings, and 10-6.

BYU (18-26, 6-18 Big 12)

This past weekend, BYU played a three-game road series against Miami (FL). They lost the series 2-1, losing 3-2 and 6-4, then winning 8-2.

Up next for BYU is a midweek road game against Utah Valley later today. After that is a three-game home series against Cincinnati starting on Thursday.

Cincinnati (27-21, 13-11 Big 12)

Last Tuesday, Cincinnati lost a midweek road game against Ohio State 12-6. An 8-0 run helped propel Ohio State to victory in this one.

This past weekend, Cincinnati hosted a three-game series against West Virginia. They won the series 2-1, losing 5-4 then winning 10-4 and 8-2.

Houston (23-24, 6-17 Big 12)

This past weekend, Kansas played a three-game road series against Kansas State. They lost the series 2-1, losing 3-2, winning 4-0, then losing again 4-2.

No. 19 Oklahoma State (32-16, 15-9 Big 12)

This past weekend, Texas Tech hosted a three-game series against No. 22 Oklahoma. They got swept 8-0, 7-5, and 8-7.

UCF (29-15, 11-12 Big 12)
