West Virginia football has landed Jacksonville State DB Kekoura Tarnue in the transfer portal, per social media.
Last season for the Gamecocks, Tarnue finished with four passes defended, three interceptions, one sack, and 53 tackles for a loss. He also played special teams, blocking a punt for a touchdown.
A three-star transfer prospect, Tarnue will arrive to the team with one year of eligibility left on top of a redshirt season. The new Mountaineer was originally from Monrovia, Liberia and moved to the United States in high school to play football.
Neal Brown continues to show commitment to deepening the secondary. Tarnue’s transfer announcement comes two weeks after DB Montre Miller announced his transfer out of the program.
