Posther Hoops, a women’s basketball X account, featured West Virginia guards JJ Quinerly and Jordan Harrison in a post.

“Perhaps one of the nation’s best and most overlooked TWO-WAY guard tandem are playing right in Morgantown, West Virginia,” the post started. “JJ Quinerly and Jordan Harrison are the only two returning teammates in all division l of women’s college basketball who had 90 or more steals last season. (Only 17 players in the country had 90 or more).”

Quinerly was the Mountaineer’s leading-scorer last season, averaging 19.8 points per game. Harrison was second, averaging 13.5 ppg. As the team’s point guard, Harrison led the team in assists per game with 5.2, while Quinerly was second averaging 2.7 apg. The two tied for the team lead in steals per game, 2.7. Harrison had the second most rebounds per game at 4.1 and Quinerly tied for third-most at 3.2. Both guards shot over 30% from three, with Quinerly having the slight edge and over 46% from the field.

With WVU looking to build of their NCAA tournament appearance last year, the guard duo is looking to keep up their consistent play and solidify themselves as the best guard duo in the nation.
