In West Virginia’s last game on Sept. 21, against Kansas, many Mountaineers were banged up.

Following their bye week, WVU head coach Neal Brown provided an injury update as the team prepares to face Oklahoma State on Saturday.

“We should be, with the exception I would say (TJ) Crandall is probably questionable, I think everybody else that played against Kansas will be up and ready to go this week,” Brown said.

Crandall got the start for the Mountaineers against Kansas but went down with an injury and did not return. Other defensive players like Aubrey Burks and Sean Martin also went down in the game but were not listed in Brown’s report.

Linebacker Reid Carrico and wide reciever Justin Robinson did not play against Kansas. Brown discussed the possibility of them playing this week.

“Reid, for sure, will play. Justin, we’ll see how he practices this week,” Brown said. “Justin, we’ll be able to tell as we move through the week.”

Lastly, wide reciever/punt returner Preston Fox was a game-time decision against Kansas. While he did not play early in the game, with Rodney Gallagher returning punts, he played after the weather delay returning punts.

“He’s going to play. He practiced last night for the first time, and so I feel like he’ll play. ‘How much?’ I think it would be determined on how he does this week, but yeah, he’ll play,” Brown said of Fox.

The Mountaineers will be on the road this week as they take on Oklahoma State. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. EST and the game will be televised on ESPN2.
