With Week 9 of the NFL season in the books, we’re officially halfway through the 2024 season. Let’s look at some former Mountaineers and how they performed in Week 9.

Beanie Bishop

The Pittsburgh Steelers were on a bye week in week nine. At the halfway mark in the season, Beanie Bishop sits at three interceptions, 20 solo tackles, and five passes defended. Bishop is second amongst all 2024 rookies in interceptions.

Dante Stills

Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman Dante Stills recorded his third consecutive game with a sack, matching his total from last year at 3.5 in a 29-9 win over the Chicago Bears. Stills recorded 0.5 sacks with four tackles in the Cardinal’s third consecutive win. Arizona now sits at 5-4 and first in the NFC West. The Cardinals will take on the New York Jets at home next Sunday at 4:25 p.m. EST.

Colton McKivitz

The San Francisco 49ers were on a bye week in week nine, sitting at an even 4-4 record. They will travel to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next Sunday at 1:00 p.m. EST.

Kyzir White

Arizona Cardinals linebacker Kyzir White recorded three solo tackles and five total tackles with a 0.5 sack and a tackle for loss in the Cardinal’s third straight win over the Chicago Bears. White has 27 solo tackles, 0.5 sacks, and an interception at the halfway point in the season. The Cardinals will look to extend their winning streak next Sunday at home against the New York Jets at 4:25 p.m. EST.

David Long Jr

The Miami Dolphins dropped their third straight game on Sunday in a 30-27 loss to the Buffalo Bills. Linebacker David Long Jr recorded zero tackles in the loss. The Dolphins will look to get back in the win column next Monday night against the Los Angeles Rams at 8:25 p.m. EST.

Geno Smith

The Seattle Seahawks lost their second consecutive game on Sunday, 26-20, to the Los Angeles Rams. Quarterback Geno Smith completed 21 of his 34 pass attempts for 363 yards and three touchdowns but also threw three interceptions. The Seahawks, who now sit at 4-5, will have their bye week in week 10.

Rasul Douglas

Buffalo Bills cornerback Rasul Douglas recorded two solo and three total tackles with a pass defended in the Bills 30-27 win over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. The Bills sit at 7-2 with a comfortable lead atop the AFC East. They will be on a bye week next week.

Zach Frazier

The Pittsburgh Steelers were on a bye week in week nine. Center Zach Frazier, who missed the last two games with an ankle injury, has returned to practice. His status for next week currently remains unknown.
