Romando Johnson, a three-star recruit, has officially signed with West Virginia.

Johnson, a 6-foot-3, 245-pound athlete, showcased his skills on both sides of the ball at Monarch High School in Coconut Creek, Florida. Primarily playing as an outside linebacker, he compiled an impressive senior season with 36 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, seven sacks and a forced fumble.

Ranked as the No. 58 edge rusher nationally by 247Sports, Johnson garnered more than 30 offers from programs across the country. Notable suitors included Penn State, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Texas A&M, Florida, Wisconsin and Louisville.
