According to multiple reports, Rich Rodriguez will interview for West Virginia’s head coaching vacancy.
Rodriguez is currently the head coach of Jacksonville State, who will face Western Kentucky in the Conference USA championship on Friday. Rodriguez was the head coach of WVU from 2001-2007 before controversially leaving to take a job at Michigan.
There has been much speculation surrounding Rodriguez’s return to Morgantown, but now it is known that he will at least interview for the job. Fans seem to be split on his return, with some willing to welcome him back with open arms and others still left with a bitter taste in their mouth from his last tenure.
This Bible Verse comes to mind, it’s not a matter of life or death it’s a football game, to much hate in the world.
John 8:7-11 King James Version (KJV)
So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.
that’s all part being head coach its human nature to always better yourself and that what Rich Rod was thinking when he left WVU for Michigan.
In life everyone deserves a second chance. And if we win the Big 12 with him at the helm, well……………………
We need to let go of what happened 17 years ago. I did not care for how he left, but he needed to do this.
Can anyone imagine the pressure RR was under by going to Michigan. I was on the field for that 13 to 9 loss to Pitt. I will never forget the stunned silence at Mountaineer Field. Pitt stacked the line and forced Pat White to beat them with the pass. Pitt’s strategy worked perfectly. RR is an upgrade, if he wins, the past will be quickly forgotten .
NO, NO, NEVER, NO. IF HE COMES BACK I WILL NOT SUPPORT WVU FOOTBALL AGAIN UNTIL HE’S GONE AGAIN.
I’m so happy rich rods back my friend thinks I’m lying when I say how we were elite before an rich was the main ingredient Go Mountaineers what a power move Wreen baker Congratulations
