As the 2024 NFL season winds down, lets look at some former Mountaineers in Week 14.
Beanie Bishop
The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Cleveland Browns 27-14 to pick up their 10th win of the season on Sunday. Cornerback Beanie Bishop recorded six total tackles in the win. The Steelers still sit at the top of the AFC North with a two-game lead over the Baltimore Ravens. Pittsburgh will travel to Philly to take on the Eagles who have won eight straight games at 4:25 pm EST on Sunday.
Dante Stills
On Sunday, the Arizona Cardinals took a tough 30-18 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Defensive lineman Dante Stills recorded three tackles in the loss. The Cardinals have lost their last three games to fall to 6-7 on the year. Arizona will look to bounce back against the New England Patriots on Sunday at 4:25 pm EST.
Colton McKivitz
The San Fransisco 49ers beat the Chicago Bears on Sunday by a score of 38-13 to snap a three-game losing streak. The Niners sit in last place in the NFC West currently and two games behind the leading Seahawks. With four games left to play the Niners will essentially need to win out to have a chance at making the playoffs. They will travel to take on the Miami Dolphins on Sunday at 4:25 PM EST.
Kyzir White
In Arizona’s 30-18 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, linebacker Kyzir White recorded a season-high 13 total tackles. White, who has been playing well as of late, is heading into an off-season in which he will be a free agent. The Cardinals who have lost three games in a row will look to get back in the win column Sunday at 4:25 pm EST against the New England Patriots.
David Long Jr.
The Detroit Lions beat the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football by a score of 34-31. Newly signed linebacker David Long Jr. recorded one tackle and recovered a fumble in the win. The Detroit Lions have officially clinched a playoff berth this season with a chance to get the No. 1 seed in the NFC with the regular season coming to an end. The Lions will host the Buffalo Bills at 4:25 pm EST on Sunday.
Rasul Douglas
The Buffalo Bills were defeated by the Los Angeles Rams in a thrilling 44-42 game on Sunday. Cornerback Rasul Douglas recorded six tackles in the loss. The Bills who have already clinched the AFC East are still in contention for the No. 1 seed in the AFC. The Bills will travel to Detroit to take on the Lions at 4:25 pm EST.
Geno Smith
Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith completed 24 of his 30 pass attempts (80%) for 233 passing yards with a touchdown in the 30-18 win over the Arizona Cardinals. Geno has been able to lead the Seahawks to an 8-5 record and first in the NFC West. The Seahawks will host the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football at 8:20 pm EST.
Zach Frazier
The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Cleveland Browns on Sunday 27-14. Rookie center Zach Frazier has continued to shine for the Steelers and looks like he will be a staple for years to come. Frazier has been the most dominant rookie at his position throughout his rookie season. The Steelers will take on the Philadelphia Eagles next Sunday at 4:25 pm EST.
