It has been reported that former West Virginia football coach Neal Brown is a candidate for Ohio State’s offensive coordinator position previously held by Chip Kelly.

Kelly broke his three-year contract with the national champions to become the offensive coordinator for the Las Vegas Raiders. Before his position with the Buckeyes, Kelly was the head coach for UCLA leading the Bruins to an overall record of 35-34 and 25-13 the past three seasons.

Brown, a respected coach in the football community, had interest from Appalachian State and Charlotte following his departure from West Virginia, but remained a free agent. If Brown lands the position at Ohio State, it could open plenty of doors for his career in the future.
