MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (March 10, 2025) – Highlighted by four home matches, the West Virginia University women’s soccer team’s 2025 spring schedule has been announced.

The Mountaineers are set to compete in five spring matches, which includes four home dates at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium in Morgantown.

WVU begins spring competition with four straight home matches, opening the campaign against Ohio State on Sunday, March 30, at 2 p.m. ET. The following weekend, the Mountaineers play host to Virginia Tech on Saturday, April 5, at 11:30 a.m.

From there, West Virginia welcomes Georgetown on Saturday, April 12, at 1 p.m., before in-state foe Marshall comes to town on Saturday, April 19, for the home finale at 2 p.m.

West Virginia concludes its spring slate on Saturday, April 26, when it travels to Virginia for an 11:30 a.m., matchup in Charlottesville.

The Mountaineers concluded their 29th season of competition in 2024, finishing the year with a 12-5-3 overall record, as well as an 8-2-1 record in Big 12 Conference play. WVU’s 12 wins this season marked its most since 2019, while the eight conference wins are the most since 2016. WVU returned to the NCAA Tournament for the 23rd time in program history and earned its first at-large bid since 2020. Furthermore, coach Nikki Izzo-Brown and the Mountaineers earned the program’s 400th win on Oct. 13, as West Virginia’s all-time record now stands at 402-143-76.
