In his recent predictions, Joe Lunardi has West Virginia a lock into the NCAA Tournament. The Mountaineers are a projected 9-seed and No. 36 overall in front of No. 37 Vanderbilt.
West Virginia finished the season with an overall record of 19-12 (10-10 in Big 12) following their win over UCF in their final regular season game.
The NCAA Tournament will begin next week on March 18.
