MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (March 12, 2024) – The West Virginia University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and the track and field team, released the 2025 indoor schedule on Wednesday afternoon.

The Mountaineers will host four home meets throughout the season at the Mylan Park Track & Field Complex in Morgantown, West Virginia.

West Virginia begins the 2025 outdoor campaign by sending split squads to the USF Alumni Invitational in Tampa, Florida and the Mary Pushkin Invitational in Morgantown, W. Va., on March 21-22, respectively.

Then, the Mountaineers will travel to the Raleigh Relay on March 27-29, which will be held at the Paul Derr Track & Field Facility in Raleigh, North Carolina.

WVU will once again send split squads out for the weekend on April 4-5, with the team competing at the Stanford Invitational in Stanford, California and the Dalton Ebanks Invitational in Fairfax, Virginia.

Next, the Mountaineers return to the road for the Bison Outdoor Classic on April 12-13, which is set to take place at the Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.

On April 16-18, West Virginia will travel to the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, Calif. Then, the Mountaineers return home on April 18-19, hosting the Mountaineer Twilight in Morgantown.

West Virginia will then travel to the Penn Relays on April 24-26, which are set to be held at Franklin Field in Philadelphia, Pa.

The Mountaineers return home for a pair of home meets, with the Stan Romanski Open scheduled for May 3 and the WVU Last Chance Meet set for May 9-10. Both meets will be held at the Mylan Park Track & Field Complex in Morgantown.

WVU kicks off postseason competition on May 15-17, with the Big 12 Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Kansas will host this year’s conference championship at Rock Chalk Park in Lawrence, Kansas.

Then, the Mountaineers will look to qualify for the NCAA East Preliminary Round on May 28-31. This year’s prelims will take place at Hodges Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla., and will be hosted by North Florida.

The 2025 NCAA Outdoor Championship will once again be held at Hayward Stadium in Eugene, Oregon. The national championship is set to take place on June 11-14.
