West Virginia adds 20th NCAA title

The West Virginia rifle team brought home their 20th Rifle NCAA Championship following their two day competition inside Memorial Coliseum in Lexington on Saturday.

Entering the competition in third place, senior Natalie Perrin and freshman Ashlyn Blake helped push the Mountaineers just one point ahead Kentucky, who finished in second place.

The Mountaineers completed the season with a perfect 13-0 record and a 5-0 overall in the Great American Rifle Conference (GARC) competition. Head coach Jon Hammond now holds seven national titles in his 19 seasons with West Virginia.
