Ross Hodge officially has a point to look forward to on the 2025-2026 schedule.
ESPN Events announced the eight teams competing in its Shriners Children’s Charleston Classic this November, and West Virginia is on the list. Tournament games will take place Nov. 21 and Nov. 23 in downtown Charleston, South Carolina.
Two concurrent four-team brackets will carry the event, with West Virginia joining Clemson, Georgia, and Xavier on its side of the bracket. Bracket 2 includes Boston College, Davidson, Tulane, and Utah State.
The two Charleston Classic games are the first on WVU’s schedule for Ross Hodge’s first season as head coach. Opponents and game times for the tournament are yet to be announced.
