Former WVU guard Javon Small has received an invitation to the 2025 NBA draft combine following his big 2024-2025 season in his lone year in Morgantown.

Small was one of the 75 players selected to participate in the draft combine, allowing players to showcase their abilities in front of NBA scouts. The combine is a multi-day event that features interviews and on-court workouts, and strength and agility testing. The combine will take place in Chicago from May 11th through the 18th.

In the 2024-2025 season, Small averaged 18.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 5.6 assists while shooting 41.8% from the field and 35.3% from the three-point line. In his only season with the Mountaineers, he was named First Team All-Big 12 and was an All-American Honorable Mention by the Associated Press.

Small quickly became a fan favorite in Morgantown and will look to take his talents to the highest level.
