Ashley O'Brien
Owner
Ashley O’Brien is the owner of Blue Gold Sports and lover of all things West Virginia Mountaineers. With a strong family tie to West Virginia University, she finds herself expecting everything to be in shades of blue and gold. Currently living in Charleston, SC working as a full time Realtor, Ashley loves the Mountaineers and traveling to see them play. In her free time, Ashley loves traveling, cooking, eating out and exploring new restaurants and spending time at the beach.
Ryan Roddy
Lead Writer and Managing Editor
Ryan Roddy is a sophomore sports and adventure media major at WVU. Born and raised in Northern, New Jersey, he is a diehard New York Yankees, New York Knicks and Denver Broncos fan. On top of football, basketball and baseball, Ryan has great knowledge in the sport of wrestling, as he wrestled in high school. He strives to bring readers quality content surrounding Mountaineer sports and would like to become a broadcaster one day.
Korey Moore
Korey Moore is a sophomore sports and adventure media major at WVU. He is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but the only hometown team he roots for is the Pirates. Other than that, he is a huge Houston Rockets, Denver Broncos, and St. Louis Blues Fan! Korey proudly represents West Virginia University by being a member of The Pride of West Virginia Marching Band!
Tanner Mountz
Tanner Mountz a senior at WVU studying Sports and Adventure Media. Growing up in Reading, Pennsylvania he is a diehard sports fan of anything but Philly including the Miami Heat, Miami Dolphins, New York Yankees, and New York Rangers. Tanner is a member of the U92 Student Radio and has been apart of play-by-play broadcasts such as the 2023 Backyard Brawl and WVU WBB’s matchup against Caitlin Clark in Iowa City.
