WVU Football adds DL Transfer Davoan ‘DayDay’ Hawkins

The commitments continue to roll on in for the Mountaineers, as Davoan ‘DayDay’ Hawkins has committed to West Virginia.

Hawkins comes from FCS Tennessee State where he spent his last two seasons. Prior to Tennessee State, Hawkins spent three seasons at Kentucky.

In 2022 at Tennessee State, Hawkins had 31 tackles, 4.5 TFL’s, one sack, and a forced fumble in 11 games played.

Hawkins is listed at 6-foot-2, 286 pounds and is originally from Lauderdale Hill, Florida.
