After his public press conference on Friday afternoon, the official details of Rich Rodriguez’s contract have been released by Pete Thamel on Twitter.

The contract signed by Rodriguez is reported to be a five-year deal with a base of $3.75 million over the course of the deal and starts at a $3.5 million base in 2025.

According to Thamel, the contract also offers a lot of incentives which are based on “pending win totals and other thresholds” that “could push the deal significantly higher.”

The announcement comes after Rodriguez asked Wren Baker on stage at the press conference if the details had been released. Wren told him they had not but he was welcome to announce them.

Rodriguez told the public that he signed a five year deal and joked that he would have signed a lifetime deal if possible.
