On Thursday the New York Knicks defeated the Philadelphia 76ers in game six of the first round of the NBA playoffs, winning the series.

The Knicks came in as the two-seed, while the 76ers were the seven-seed. Coming off the bench, former WVU guard Miles ‘Deuce’ McBride, scored three points in nine minutes, making one three-pointer on four attempts in the win Thursday.

McBride scored a series-high 21 points in 28 minutes in game one, before following it up with nine points in game two, eight points in game three, 13 points in game four and 14 points in game five, averaging 11.3 points per game in the series, shooting 48.1% from the field and 43.3% from three. In the series, he collected a total of 14 rebounds, 11 assists, four steals and a block.

The Knicks are set to face the sixth-seeded Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Semifinals with game one on Monday. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. EST and will be televised on TNT.
